Our farmhouse table.

I found a plan on Ana White for a beautiful farmhouse table. Here's the link if anyone's interested: http://www.ana-white.com/2012/11/plans/farmhouse-table-updated-pocket-hole-plans

After talking my husband into building it and going to Home Depo for supplies we (I say we, but I mean mostly charlie) were able to start.

The thing about these projects is that I really try and help, I really do. But I cant even drive a nail straight into a board. I feel accomplished if I can frame a picture on the wall without it been crooked. So, yeah. But I was determined to help with this one. I told Charlie that I would stain it. (I'm a huge help, right?) So we moved it into the mudroom since it was warmer than the shop. We put the kids to bed and we started. The smell from the stain was absolutely insane. I couldn't even breathe. I read the label and it pretty much said that it could cause fetal defects, cancer, etc. So we figured it would probably be best if I just didn't stain it anymore since I am pregnant. I keep on trying to sneak in the room with my shirt over my nose so I could look at the progress and kept getting scolded and told I needed to not come in. Waiting is hard, y,all. But I'm so happy with how it turned out and thankful for my main man for making it!
